The Original Sin (year 1993)
This gold medal of the Vatican was minted in 1993 and is the second of the series. It is part of the trilogy taken from the frescoes of the Sistine Chapel.
In the "straight" is represented a detail of the Sistine Chapel ceiling depicting "The original sin and the Expulsion from the Garden of Eden."
The great Michelangelo interprets admirably "The Temptation" with Adam and Eve taking the forbidden fruit from the serpent wrapped around the tree of Good and Evil.
As a result of their transgression, Adam and Eve are expelled from the Heaven by the angel with the flaming sword.
The top of the medal reports the inscription: "Michelangelo".
In the "reverse" is represented an interior view of the "Cappella Sistina" placed inside a circle decentralized with the inscription "Musei Vaticani II Anno 1993".

Weight: 34 grams in 18 Karati.
Coinage: 2000 copies, each coin has its own ID number stamped on the board.
